Passport Through Space

Introduction

Have you ever wanted to take a journey through space? Well, here is your chance to explore the Solar System and practice your rounding along the way. Make sure to remember your passport to enter and leave each planet.

Task

Your task is to journey through the Solar System in search of planet facts. You must complete the fact sheet for each planet to receive a stamp in your passport for that planet. Without the stamps, you may not make the journey to the next planet.

Process

  1. Have a hard copy of the fact sheet and passport.
  2. Go to NASA's Solar System Exploration website ---> Enter website here
  3. Use the website and your knowledge of rounding to find the facts for the planets.
  4. Create a page for your planet in your passport by drawing a picture of the planet and one interesting fact from the planet page.
  5. When you have found the facts for the first planet on your journey and completed the planet's passport page, raise you hand to receive a stamp in you passport (Note: You need a stamp to be able to exit the planet you are visiting and move on to the next planet on your journey.)
